The crew set to fly on the Dear Moon mission funded by Yusaku Maezawa is offically set to launch 2023 on Starship (likely later due to starship having not flown as a full stack yet). At the end of 2022 the full crew list was announced!

If you are anything like me you will have heard of a few of these people but is the first time you have ever seen some of them, so let me fill you in.
Yasaku Maezawa – ENTREPRENEUR
Yusaku Maezawa is a Japanese billionaire entrepreneur and art collector. He is the founder and CEO of the Japanese e-commerce company Zozotown and is known for his love of art and fashion. Maezawa made headlines in 2018 when he announced the Dear Moon project.
Steve Aoki – DJ / PRODUCER
Steve Aoki is a Japanese-American DJ, producer, and music executive. He is the founder of Dim Mak Records and has released several successful albums and singles. He is known for his energetic live performances, which often include crowd surfing and throwing cake at audience members. Aoki has collaborated with many popular artists, including will.i.am, Lil Jon, and Linkin Park.
TOP (Choi Seung Hyun) – MUSICIAN
Choi Seung Hyun, better known by his stage name T.O.P, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and actor. He is a member of the popular K-pop group Big Bang and has released several successful solo albums and singles. T.O.P is known for his smooth and charismatic stage presence, and has won numerous awards for his music and acting.
Yemi A.D. – MULTI-DISCIPLINARY
Yemi A.D. is a Choreographer, art director, performer, correspondent and artist who is known for sharing unique dance styles to the Czech Republic. He has also worked with many people in the music industry including being hired by Kanye West to choreograph a ballet inspired sequence for one of his music videos.
Rhiannon Adam – PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTIST
Rhiannon Adam is a British photographer known for her polaroid and vintage film photographs. She has exhibited her work in galleries around the world, including in London, New York, and Paris. Adam has also published several books of her photographs, Adam has also taught workshops and lectured on polaroid and vintage film photography.
Tim Dodd – YOUTUBER
Tim Dodd, also known as the “Everyday Astronaut,” is an American science communicator and content creator. He is known for his YouTube channel, “Everyday Astronaut,” where he discusses space exploration and shares his experiences as an astronaut candidate.
Karim Iliya – PHOTOGRAPHER
Karim Iliya is a photographer and whale swimming guide based in Iceland and Hawaii. He is known for using photography and video to show a unique perspective of underwater worlds and documenting many threatened speciese in an aim to help protect them for years to come.
Brendan Hall – FILMMAKER
Brendan Hall is a US filmaker who makes documentaries on the natural world (and maybe soon space) through many projects around the world from the Amazon Rainforest to Siberia. He has also done alot of work for non-profits and brands like National Geographic and Adobe.
Dev D. Joshi – ACTOR
Dev D.Joshi is an Indian actor who has been party of many telivision serieses, music albums and advertisments. He is well known in India for his acting as a superhero “baalveer”. He has also been honoured with the “Bal Shakti Puraskar” in 2019 which is the highest civilian honour under the age of 18.
Kaitlyn Farrington – SNOWBOARDER
Kaitlyn Farrington is an American professional snowboarder. She is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won gold in the halfpipe event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and bronze in the same event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
Miyu – DANCER
Miyu is a dancer and choreographer who has won multiple titles throughout Japan and Asia. She is known for educating, insiring and connecting people through dance and movement all over the world.
